Participant Code of Conduct

Every BeachSports participant is expected to act in a way that ensures a positive, safe, and healthy experience for all. This policy applies at all BeachSports locations and programs.

Behavior guidelines

• Be responsible for your words and actions.
• Be respectful of others.
• Follow all instructions given by BeachSports staff.

Prohibited behaviors

• Endangering the health or safety of themselves, other participants, or staff.
• Continual disruption of the program.
• Refusal to follow behavior guidelines.
• Profanity, inappropriate language, or clothing and personal items with offensive content.
• Bullying, aggression, or violence.

What happens if guidelines aren't followed

Step 1: Staff will use a positive approach to redirect the child and remind them of the behavior guidelines.

Step 2: If the behavior continues, staff will discuss the situation with a parent or guardian and work toward a solution together.

Step 3: All behavioral situations are documented in an Incident Form — including what happened, what provoked it, who was involved, and the corrective action taken. Forms are shared with parents and guardians the same day.

Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may result in removal from the program. No refunds are given for participants removed due to Code of Conduct violations.
